Like most families, we have scrapbooks and photo albums that help us record and remember our history. Because we have been in this one place for over 150 years, we have many albums, and we would like to share some of those pictures with you.
All of these pictures were taken in the 1930's and 1940's and are between 30 and 50 KB if you want to look at them.
The Old Lodge: At one time, ’family brothers’ lived in this building, and worked on the monastery farm.
The Housekeeper: The Lay Brothers wore a habit made of durable thick material; they wore it whenever they worked--summer or winter.
In the Granary: They come back, they come back, their arms full of sheaves... Psalm 125
The Beekeeper: They compassed me about like bees... Psalm 117
The Candlemaker: You light my lamp; The Lord my God illumines my darkness. Psalm 17
The Cobbler: Our sandals are worn out because of the very long journey... Joshua 9
